Steady Start, Challenging Finish Kevin Doan, a 29-year-old runner from Atlanta, competed in the 2025 Mesa Marathon with a total completion time of 4:41:24 and an average pace of 10:44 min/mile. Starting strong, Kevin maintained a consistent pace near 8:33 min/mile for the first mile, with his fastest split at 8:27 min/mile during the third mile. His performance saw a gradual slowing, particularly evident in the later miles, culminating in a 17:33 min/mile pace at the 21st mile.
