Consistent Marathon with Strong Finish Jeff Ostrom maintained a remarkably steady pace throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon, achieving an overall finish time of 3:30:58. His overall pace was 8:03 min/mile, showing commendable consistency over the 26.2 miles. Notably, Jeff improved his pace in the last few miles, with Split 25 at a swift 7:43 min/mile and Split 26 even better at 7:33 min/mile, suggesting effective energy management and a strong finish. Throughout the race, Jeff placed in the top 21.5% of total participants, showing a competitive spirit and solid performance. In his division of M35-39, he ranked 99th out of many competitors. There seems to be a slight slowdown at the 5th mile with a pace of 8:36 min/mile. Focusing on maintaining momentum during mid-race segments might yield even better results next time. Overall, maintain the strong finish and try to balance the early race splits.
