Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Nahemy Alejandra Lopez Valdez demonstrated impressive consistency during the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K as she maintained a generally steady pace throughout the race. Her overall pace averaged 9:55 minutes per mile, culminating in a finish time of 1:01:32 over the 6.2-mile course. Of particular note is her performance in the latter portion of the race. The final 1-mile split showcased a significant improvement as she picked up the pace to run an 8:59-minute mile. Encouragingly, she maintained or improved her placement in both overall female and age division categories, ultimately achieving 234th in gender and 52nd in the F35-39 division out of 2107 total participants. Going forward, fostering the ability to sustain this push from the start could enhance future results.
