Consistent Pacing Yields Strong Division Finish Christa maintained a consistent pace throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon, completing the race with an impressive elapsed time of 1:56:35, averaging 8:53 minutes per mile. She secured 34th place in her division of F50-54 and placed 481st among 1,280 female competitors. Her performance showed strategic improvements in speed; notably from mile 11 to mile 13, where she significantly picked up the pace, with her fastest split time being an impressive 7:40 in the final mile. Early splits showed a gradual increase in speed, with mile 3 clocked at 8:26. Although there was a slight pace decline around mile 4, Christa quickly regained momentum, averaging just over 9-minute miles thereafter. Her ability to adjust her pace suggests controlled effort and strategy.
