Consistent Pacing with Notable Improvement Mid-Race Takahiro Horinaga, a 36-year-old runner from Torrance, CA, displayed a consistent performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K. His early splits, starting with a 10:22 min/mile pace, showed steady progress. Notably, he improved his pace with each subsequent mile, culminating in a final mile split of 9:05. Such improvement is commendable, especially in maintaining a sub-10-minute average pace for the race.
