Significant Pace Improvement in Half Marathon Performance Isaiah Galbraith, aged 16 from Rio Rancho, NM, demonstrated impressive pacing during the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon. With a finishing time of 1:25:44, his average pace was 6:32 min/mile, a notable improvement from his previous race in 2023 where he averaged 8:21 min/mile. This progress is marked by a substantial reduction in overall race time by nearly 24 minutes. Particularly noteworthy was Isaiah's ability to maintain consistent splits, with split times mostly within 15 seconds of each other, and a standout final split of 6:00 min/mile.
