Consistent Pace with Strategic Finish Rhiannon Schurig from Goodyear, AZ, maintained a steady performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon. Over 26.2 miles, she clocked a total time of 4:24:40, translating to an average pace of 10:06 min/mile. Among female runners, she secured 683rd position, while in the F40-44 division, she placed 116th. Throughout the race, her split times were largely consistent, particularly noticeable with a steady range around the 10-minute mile mark. A notable aspect of Rhiannon's race was her ability to finish strong. At mile 26, she recorded a split time of 9:16, her fastest during the marathon, after an earlier robust split of 8:54 at mile 17.
