Date: February 8, 2025 Participant: Renae Acor #15119 Race: 2025 Mesa Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles Weather: Perfect running conditions at 63°F, partly cloudy skies, and a slight breeze from the east in Mesa, AZ.

Consistent Pacing with Slight Variations Renae maintained a consistent pace during the 2025 Mesa Marathon with a total elapsed time of 2:19:00, averaging a pace of 10:36 min/mile over the 13.1-mile half marathon race. She began the race with a strong start, recording her fastest mile split of 9:18 min/mile at mile 3. Interestingly, despite the slowed pace from mile 7 onwards, she maintained a position within the top 50 of her division, finishing 42nd in the F55-59 division. This year's performance shows some room for surprisingly repetitive pacing in comparison to previous races. Her finish time was slightly slower than prior years where she clocked times of 2:15:18 in 2023 and 2:17:46 in 2024. A focus on maintaining the strong pace she set in the early miles throughout the entire race could potentially improve her overall time in future events.
