Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Amy Alme, representing the Foothills Running Club from Phoenix, AZ, showcased another commendable performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K. Her overall time was 1:09:29, averaging an 11:12 min/mile pace, which marked an improvement from her previous race time of 1:11:04 in 2024. Particularly noteworthy was her final mile, where she achieved her fastest split at 10:40 min/mile, moving up from a slower pace in the earlier part of the race. Analyzing her split times, Amy maintained a steady pace through the course, displaying consistency. Slight variations were observed as she started with a 10:46 min/mile split, with the pace slightly dropping around the middle but concluding strongly. Her division rank showed minor shifts, finishing 20th in the F60-64 category. Maintaining this consistency will be crucial, and focusing on sustaining the pace achieved in her last mile earlier in the race could further enhance performance.
