Consistent Early Pace, Challenging Finish Lynette Andrade, representing Latinos Run Phoenix, showcased a steady start at the 2025 Mesa Marathon. Her early splits maintained a pace around 9:06 to 9:23 min/mile, demonstrating consistency through the first half of the marathon. A standout was her 12th mile, clocking in at a swift 8:58 min/mile. Her overall pace settled at 10:40 min/mile over the 26.2-mile course, completing the marathon in 4:39:45. Despite a slower finish compared to her past performance at the 2023 Mesa Marathon, where she recorded a 4:17:35 time with a 9:49 min/mile average pace, Lynette maintained ace pacing initially. For future races, focusing on consistency during the latter half will be beneficial. Her effort landed her 786th in the female gender category and 130th in the female 40-44 age division. With dedication, Lynette can work towards closing the gap between her early and late race paces.
