Consistent Performance with Strategic Splits Matt Porter showcased a strong and consistent run at the 2025 Mesa Marathon. With an average pace of 7:04 per mile, he completed the 26.2-mile course in 3:05:27. His split times demonstrate a strategic approach, with steady paces ranging from 6:28 to 7:28 minutes per mile. Notably, his consistent paces between miles 1 to 14 stayed below 7:10, illustrating a well-paced start.
