Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Krista Boese showcased a consistent performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon, completing the 26.2-mile course in a total time of 3:16:18. Her average pace was 7:29 minutes per mile, placing her 62nd in her gender category and 6th in her age division among the F25-29 competitors. Particularly noteworthy were her continued efforts to manage her pacing throughout the race, with a consistent pace maintained from the start to the midpoint. Krista's strongest mile was mile 19, where she recorded a split time of 6:38, a significant surge that improved her race position to 22nd among females in that segment. She also demonstrated tenacity in the latter stages, maintaining a reasonable split pace as the race concluded. Continuing to leverage these strengths with renewed focus on maintaining faster segments consistently throughout the entire race could enhance her positioning in future competitions.
