Consistent Performance with Stable Splits Joshua demonstrated a steady performance throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon with a total elapsed time of 5:49:17 and an average pace of 13:19 min/mile. His periodic pacing remained within the 9:29 to 17:00 min/mile range. While there was a pace increase in some later stages, notably splits 20 and 21, Joshua maintained stability and did not have significant fluctuations. Such consistency can be an asset for future races. Joshua finished 3007th overall out of 3624 participants, placing 1912th among men and 272nd in the M35-39 division. Notably, his pacing placements fluctuated, with a strong start at 9:29 min/mile. Maintaining or slightly improving the split times in the latter part of the race could enhance overall results. Nonetheless, the ability to sustain a pace that suited the first half of the marathon is commendable and lays a strong foundation for improvement in upcoming races.
