Consistent Pace and Steady Progression Javier Enrique maintained a steady pacing strategy throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon. Starting with a moderate pace of 9:28 min/mile in the first mile, he progressively increased his speed, reaching his fastest split at mile 6 with a pace of 7:52 min/mile. Notably, his splits varied slightly but remained consistently under 9:00 min/mile for the majority of the race, demonstrating strong pacing control. An area to watch is the noticeable slow down in the last few miles, where the pace extended beyond 9:00 min/mile.
