Consistent Early Pacing Leads to a Strong Performance James Rosenberger demonstrated an impressive performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon with a finishing time of 4:06:48. He maintained a solid pace of 9:25 min/mile over 26.2 miles. Notably, his pacing was consistent in the early kilometers, with several splits in the 8:08 to 8:48 min/mile range. This strong and steady start was instrumental in delivering an overall improved time compared to his 2023 Mesa Marathon performance where he finished with a pace of 10:23 min/mile. Areas to consider for future races include focusing on maintaining the pace consistency observed in earlier splits throughout the entire race. The latter part of the race, particularly miles 21 to 26, displayed a slower pace with splits ranging from 9:39 to 11:57 min/mile.
