Consistent Start, Tough Finish Jeremiah began the 2025 Mesa Marathon with a steady pace, showing consistency in the early stages. His first mile clocked in at an 8:50 min/mile pace, setting a solid start. Up to mile 4, his pace hovered around 9:08–9:23 min/mile, which maintained a commendable balance between speed and endurance. This kept his early overall place within the top 60% of participants, with a particular strength in the first split where he was 103rd in his age division. As the race progressed, Jeremiah's pace gradually decreased. By mile 9, the pace shifted to 10:08 min/mile and continued to slow, culminating in 13:35 min/mile at the finish. While a finish time of 5:56:51 is substantial, focusing on pacing strategies after mile 13 could be beneficial.
