Consistency in Performance with a Steady Pace Macy Schmitt, at just 22, continued her marathon experience at the 2025 Mesa Marathon. She maintained an average pace of 11:47 min/mile across the 26.2-mile course, completing the race in 5:08:47. Notably, in comparison to her previous marathons, such as her 2024 Mesa Marathon finish of 4:54:52, Macy showed consistent pacing. Her splits varied with early miles such as Mile 2 at a 10:37 min/mile pace, and a strong finish at Mile 3 with a pace of 9:51 min/mile before settling into a rhythm. Throughout the race, Macy managed to keep a steady position, notably ranking 81st in her F19-24 division and placing 963rd among females.
