Consistent Early Pacing, Later Deceleration Jeremy maintained a consistent pace initially, with his first three miles averaging about 10:12 min/mile. His fastest mile was the third at 9:32 min/mile, where he improved his pace notably compared to the first split. Consistency in the first half of the race is commendable, especially given his adaptive pacing during the middle miles, such as the steady 9:58 min/mile at mile six.
