Consistent Pace with a Steady Finish Liz Sharon participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon, displaying a steady run with an overall time of 1:56:55. Throughout the half marathon event, Liz maintained an average pace of 8:55 min/mile, with a total distance of 13.1 miles. Her performance saw her finish 1183rd overall out of 3859 participants. Notably, Liz finished 489th among female runners and secured the 41st spot in her F45-49 age division. Shifts in her pace showed that Liz started strong with a 9:13 min/mile pace in the first mile, followed by an improvement during miles two and three, clocking speeds of 8:02 and 8:12 min/mile respectively. Although there was a slower split of 9:36 min/mile between miles nine and ten, she showed resilience by picking up pace again and ended with a solid 8:41 min/mile in the final split. Focusing on maintaining the faster splits longer could further enhance her future performances.
