Consistent Effort, Solid Performance Phyllis maintained a steady pace throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon with an overall time of 2:45:10. Her average pace was 12:36 minutes per mile across the 13.1-mile course. Notably, Phyllis' split times and paces showed consistent effort, with a slight pick-up in speed early in the race, improving from a 12:28 during her first mile to 11:55 by mile three. She initially moved up from 22nd to 19th in her F65-69 division. Her performance remained strong, with a dip in her division rank only around the middle miles where her pace stabilized in the 12:10 to 12:44 range. Phyllis kept a consistent pace in the later stages of the race. She finished 28th in her division, with her overall position benefiting from a steady race even as others around her fluctuated in the field.
