Consistent Early Pace with a Need for Sustainability Michael Davila, from Phoenix, AZ, showcased a well-paced start in the 2025 Mesa Marathon. His initial 8:48-minute mile set a steady rhythm, maintaining an average pace of around 8:50 for the first four miles. Notably, his quickest split was at mile 6 with an impressive 7:12 pace. Up until mile 10, he held a strong position within the Male 25-29 division, placing between 134th and 203rd. Over the latter stages, Michael faced a noticeable pace decline, finishing with an overall time of 4:41:11, and an average pace of 10:43 min/mile.
