Consistent Performance With a Strong Finish Philip Sella completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K with an elapsed time of 1:31:17, averaging a solid pace of 14:43 min/mile. Philip started the race at a steady pace, clocking his first mile at 15:34. Throughout the race, Philip demonstrated consistent pacing, maintaining a rhythm within the range of 14:25 to 15:34 min/mile during most of the splits. Notably, the final split was Philip's fastest, with a significant improvement to 13:26 min/mile, showcasing his ability to finish strong. Of the 2,107 total participants, he placed 1,477th overall and 660th in the male category. Within his age division, Male 60-64, he secured the 37th place. As part of the SBC Crawlers team, Philip can be proud of his effort and should consider maintaining such strong finishing power in future races. Consistency was key, though pacing slightly faster in the middle splits can enhance overall performance.
