Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Raisa ran an impressive race at the 2025 Mesa Marathon. Her overall time was 1:46:10, with a pace of 8:06 min/mile across the half marathon distance of 13.1 miles. She demonstrated consistency, evident in her steady paces throughout the splits, maintaining approximately 8-minute miles across numerous segments. Remarkably, Raisa achieved her fastest split pace at mile 13, clocking in at 7:24 min/mile. Throughout the race, Raisa's performance improved significantly in terms of pacing, particularly from miles 3 to 13. Although she started strong with a pace of 8:17 min/mile, she picked up her speed effectively, highlighting her ability to sustain energy and strategy. A constructive focus moving forward could be maintaining or even improving pace consistency across the middle splits. With these efforts, she’d likely observe further improvement. Raisa represented the Atlanta Run Club well, finishing among the top 15% of female participants.
