Consistent Effort with Positive Finish David Rigby from Gilbert, AZ, completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon with a time of 2:14:51. His average pace was 10:17 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. The race started strong with a 9:51 min/mile pace for the first mile. Although his pace slightly slowed, he maintained it consistently in the second half, with a notable final push in the last mile at 9:38 min/mile, highlighting a strong finish. Throughout the race, David's placement stayed in the upper half of participants, finishing 2010th out of 3859 overall and 1070th in his gender. Within his age group (M50-54), he ranked 94th. Comparing to his past performances, the results are comparable to his 2022 time but slower than his 2023 and 2024 races. Focusing on maintaining the early pace during the mid-race miles could enhance future performance. Great work on the finish!
