Steady Progress with Room to Improve Split Consistency Vasana Ramachandran competed in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K, completing the race with a total time of 1:56:00 and an average pace of 18:42 min/mile. This marks an improvement from the previous year’s event, where she recorded a time of 1:58:52 and a pace of 19:10 min/mile in the same 10K race. Her overall placement was 1768 out of 2107 participants. Notably, Vasana maintained her position within her age division, F40-44, finishing 123rd, indicating consistency in her performance within her peer group. Analyzing the splits, Vasana started strong with a 17:39 min/mile 2nd mile; however, there was some variability, particularly between miles 4 and 5, where her pace dropped to 21:05 min/mile and 20:28 min/mile, respectively.
