Consistent Performance with Strong Mid-Race Pace Pickup Ryan Cox, 34, from Anchorage, AK, delivered an impressive performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon event with a final time of 1:11:38. Operating at a steady pace, Ryan maintained an average of 5:28 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. Notably, he showed particular strength in the mid-race section, accelerating to a 5:02 min/mile pace between miles 2 and 3, which marked his fastest split time. Ryan finished in 47th overall out of 3859 runners, exemplifying a commendable effort in a competitive field. Throughout the race, Ryan demonstrated significant resilience.
