Strong Performance with Consistent Pacing Scharlin Jones from El Paso, TX, ran a strong race at the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. Over the 13.1-mile course, she maintained a steady average pace of 9:24 min/mile, culminating in a finish time of 2:03:15. Notably, her pace improved consistently from the first mile, where she started at 10:20 min/mile, to mile 12, which she completed at 8:49 min/mile. This shows a clear ability to adapt and push through as the race progressed. She placed 673rd among female participants and 121st in her division of F35-39, demonstrating competitive standing among peers.
