Consistent Start, With Opportunities to Enhance Performance Brenda Robertson from Fairburn, GA, participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon, representing the Atlanta Run Club. Covering a full marathon distance of 26.2 miles, Brenda maintained a consistent early pace. Her first split at 9:47 min/mile displayed promising speed, although her pace began to gradually decrease as the race progressed. By mile 13, it had moderated to 12:27 min/mile. Notably, somewhere after halfway, between miles 17 and 22, the pace increased with a peak split time of 16:57 min/mile at mile 22, indicating a focus point for future races.
