Consistent Pace with Strong Finish at the Mesa Marathon Jesse Ryburn displayed an impressive performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. Starting off with a 9:40 min/mile pace, Jesse progressively improved his speed, peaking with an 8:07 min/mile split at the 13th mile. Overall, Jesse maintained a commendable average pace of 9:00 min/mile, finishing with a total time of 1:57:55. Throughout the race, Jesse's placement fluctuated slightly, but he finished strong, claiming 1243rd place overall out of 3859 participants, showcasing remarkable endurance and consistent pace. Jesse's performance in this half marathon shows growth from previous marathon experience, specifically in maintaining a consistent pace. The most notable improvements were seen in the latter stages of the race, with a strong acceleration at the end. To further enhance future performances, focusing on sustaining the improved pace throughout more of the race could yield even greater results. Excellent representation by Team Ludlow and a solid foundation for continued progress.
