Consistent Splits with a Strong Finish Marc Johnson, representing "I made you a mixed tape," demonstrated steady pacing in the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon. Throughout the 13.1 miles, Marc exhibited consistent split times, beginning with an 11:15 min/mile pace in the first mile and concluding with a strong finish at a 10:35 min/mile pace in the final mile. His overall elapsed time was 2:27:39, resulting in an average pace of 11:16 min/mile. Marc's performance saw a noticeable improvement in the latter stages of the race, particularly with a significant pace pick-up in the concluding mile. Positioned in the top third of his age group, Marc placed 204th in the M30-34 division out of 3859 total participants.
