Consistency Shines Through in Half Marathon Performance Andrew Besaw, competing in the 2025 Mesa Marathon, demonstrated consistent pacing throughout the half marathon, maintaining an average pace of 9:26 min/mile. Starting with a time of 9:41 for the first mile, Andrew progressively improved his pace to 8:34 by mile three, reflecting a strong early performance. Although his pace slightly decreased in the later miles, it remained steady, finishing with a time of 2:03:42 for the 13.1-mile race. Andrew's placement showed consistency as well in the M50-54 division, where he finished 73rd out of the total 3859 participants. Notable fluctuation occurred from mile eight to mile ten, where his pace increased to over 10:00 min/mile, impacting his overall standing. It's recommend focusing on maintaining the mid-race pace to avoid slowing in the latter stages. Overall, representing Team Crazy Train 2.0, Andrew exhibited resilience and endurance.
