Consistent Pace with Key Moments Jeff Spielvogel from Appleton, WI, participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon event and maintained a consistent pace throughout. His overall elapsed time was 2:16:34, with an average pace of 10:25 min/mile. Notable fluctuations in pace were seen at mile 6 with a split of 9:51 and again at mile 11 hitting 9:59, demonstrating strategically strong segments. Jeff finished 2096th out of 3859 participants overall, placing 1104th among males and 71st in his M55-59 age division. Throughout the race, Jeff showed resilience, maintaining a steady pace with minimal variation. His performance in mile 1 set a cautious introduction with an 11:03 split, moving towards a stronger middle section evidenced by consistent sub 10:30 miles from miles 6 through 9.
