Consistency Leads to a Strong Finish Megan showcased commendable consistency throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. Her performance was marked by a steady pace, maintaining an impressive average of 6:18 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. Starting with a pace of 6:56 min/mile in the first mile, she picked up speed, clocking her fastest split at a remarkable 5:48 min/mile by mile 6. Despite a challenging split at mile 9 with a pace of 9:41 min/mile, Megan quickly recovered, evidencing her determination. Ending with a final surge, Megan completed the race in 1:22:44. Her strategic pacing saw her finishing within the top segment of her division, securing 15th place in the F25-29 category out of many competitors. As a member of the Denver Metro Racing team, Megan’s performance stands out for its consistency and resilience. Focusing on maintaining speed during the latter stages of her runs could further enhance her overall results.
