Consistent Performance with Strong Finish Christopher Edwards demonstrated a consistent performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon with an overall time of 3:03:56. His average pace was an impressive 7:01 minutes per mile over the 26.2-mile course. Notably, Christopher began strong, recording a 6:41-minute pace in his initial mile and maintained a steady rhythm throughout. His placements were commendable in a competitive field of 3,624 participants, finishing 250th overall, 230th among males, and 47th in his age division of M25-29. Christopher's race strategy showed positive adjustments in pacing, particularly in the later miles; for example, he accelerated to a 6:22 pace at mile 20. However, his pace dropped to 9:24 for mile 21, indicating a possible area to manage pace consistency in future races.
