Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Colleen Warfield delivered a strong performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon, maintaining an overall pace of 8:13 min/mile. Her splits reveal a consistent effort, with a notable spike in pace at mile 17, where she clocked her fastest split at 7:31 min/mile. Colleen started the race with a solid pace, clocking her first mile in 7:55, which set a positive tone. Between miles 9 to 12, she maintained splits close to her average race pace, with mile 12 showing an impressive 7:46 min/mile. Maintaining steady pacing clearly paid off, as Colleen placed 50th in her division, F35-39, out of a sizeable 3624 participants. Her final mile was completed at 8:15 min/mile, showing her ability to sustain pace. Suggest focusing on endurance training and perhaps speed intervals to shave seconds off those slower splits in the middle third of the race, such as miles 5 and 22, which showed pacing slightly above average.
