Consistent Pacing with Slight Variation Throughout Rachel Shevalier completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon with a time of 3:33:05, maintaining an average pace of 8:07 min/mile over the 26.2 miles. Notable consistency was seen in the early miles, with her first split at 7:27 min/mile, gradually transitioning to an even pace around 8:07 min/mile by mile 22. Her splits showed minor fluctuations, with the fastest at mile 1 and consistent effort through the event, particularly at mile 26, finishing strong with a 7:37 min/mile split. In her division (F25-29), Rachel placed 37th among a competitive field of participants. Her performance in this race is consistent with previous events, although there was a slight increase in overall time compared to the 2023 and 2024 races. Continuing to focus on maintaining a consistent pace, particularly in the latter miles, could help in matching or surpassing former performances.
