Consistent Pacing Throughout the Race Dylan De Vaney executed an impressive performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon, showcasing consistent efforts across various splits. Starting strong, he maintained a pace of 6:21 min/mile in the first mile and ended the race with an overall pace of 6:31 min/mile. Noteworthy splits include mile 20, where Dylan clocked a swift 6:05 min/mile, signifying his strong endurance and ability to push through towards the race's end. While maintaining a relatively steady pace throughout, one slight variation was observed in mile 21 with a split pace of 7:05. Overall, Dylan managed to adjust and regain speed afterward, particularly in mile 20 and 19 with some of his fastest splits. This performance placed him 95th out of 3,624 participants overall and 15th in his division. For future races, working on maintaining pace during later miles could further enhance his performance.
