Consistent Performance with Strategic Finish Keaton Horner, a 28-year-old from Palm Desert, CA, showcased a well-paced race at the 2025 Mesa Marathon. Running with the Flat Out Running Club, Keaton maintained an average pace of 6:53 minutes per mile, completing the marathon in 3:00:31. Of the 3,624 participants, he ranked 211th overall and 198th among males, achieving a noteworthy 40th place in his M25-29 division. His pacing strategy was consistent, with most splits ranging between 6:40 and 7:15 minutes per mile. Particularly strong segments included miles 17, where he recorded a pace of 6:23 min/mile, and the 26th mile, with an impressive 6:43 min/mile finish.
