Consistent First Half with Variability in Later Splits Trey Weech from Mesa, AZ completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon in 4:48:18, maintaining an overall pace of 11:00 min/mile. The marathon began with overlapping consistency in the first few miles with splits between 9:56 and 10:34 min/mile. Notably, the seventh mile was a strong performance with a 8:57 min/mile pace, indicating potential for faster tempos. In the second half of the race, Trey’s pace saw variability, with some slower splits. The 19th mile was particularly challenging with a pace of 14:19 min/mile, yet he showed resilience by improving pace shortly after. This section showed room for more even pacing strategies during longer distances. Despite fluctuations, finishing in the top 70% overall and participating as part of the "Bright Homies" team reflects a commendable effort and team spirit.
