Consistent Speed at 2025 Mesa Marathon Louisa demonstrated noteworthy pacing during the 2025 Mesa Marathon, finishing with an overall time of 3:55:04. Throughout the race, her split times revealed a steady effort, especially from miles 6 to 21, where she maintained an impressive pace mostly under 9:00 min/mile. Her fastest mile was the 7th mile at a pace of 8:09 min/mile. This effort placed her 430th among female participants and 76th in her F40-44 division out of 3624 total competitors. Improvements from her last marathon were noticeable, with a 4-minute 40-second reduction in her overall time compared to the 2023 Mesa Marathon. A slight slowdown was observed in the later miles, particularly on miles 21, 23, and 24 where she crossed the 10-minute mark. Concentrating on sustaining her energy to maintain sub-9:00 min/mile paces in these later stretches could lead to even more impressive results in future races.
