Consistency and Steady Improvements Yvette, hailing from Gilbert, AZ, showcased a consistent and steady performance throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon. Covering the half marathon distance of 13.1 miles, her overall elapsed time was 2:46:43, translating to an average pace of 12:43 min/mile. Starting strong with a pace of 11:49 for the first mile, she improved her pace to 10:27 by the third mile, marking her fastest interval. Although there were fluctuations, her determination was evident as she navigated the splits, finishing strong with a notable acceleration in the final mile to 13:18.
