Consistent Performance with Strong Finish Peter Schommer delivered an impressive performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon, maintaining a steady pace throughout the race. His splits indicate a strong start with his first mile at 5:26 min/mile. By mile 10, Peter transitioned to a consistent 5:40 min/mile pace and managed to hold similar paces, finishing with an average pace of 5:51 min/mile over the 26.2 miles. Notably, he maintained placements around the top 15 for most of the race in his division. In the M25-29 division, Peter consistently placed 3rd. His final time was 2:33:31, securing 14th place overall among 3,624 participants. Peter excelled in the latter stages, moving up in placement after mile 20 and finishing particularly strong, even improving his pace in the marathon's late stages.
