Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Carol Swenson, 67, from Phoenix, AZ, demonstrated consistent pacing throughout her half marathon at the 2025 Mesa Marathon. Carol maintained an overall steady pace, clocking an elapsed time of 4:15:17, with an average pace of 19:29 min/mile. Notably, her quickest pace came during mile 11 at 18:51 min/mile. Within her age division F65-69, she positioned consistently, finishing 50th despite several competitive moments; her placement shifted from 31st in the first mile to steadier rankings thereafter.
