Stable Mid-Race Pace Enhances Performance Tracey Rowley ran a strong race at the 2025 Mesa Marathon's Half Marathon. Maintaining a consistent pace throughout the run, Tracey clocked an overall time of 2:14:15, averaging a pace of 10:14 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. Notably, in the second mile, she achieved her fastest split of 9:25 min/mile, showing impressive momentum early on in the race. Her split performance was stable, with ten splits ranging between 9:08 and 10:53 min/mile. Among 3,859 participants, Tracey placed 926th in her gender category and 35th in the F55-59 age division. Compared to her previous marathon performance, her pace improved by 19 seconds per mile, suggesting progress in her distance running capabilities. While her pace fluctuated slightly, there was a strong recovery in the final stretch with a faster split of 10:12 min/mile at mile 13. Overall, a commendable race with pacing improvements.
