Consistent Pace with a Notable Finish Time Abby's half marathon performance demonstrated impressive pacing throughout the race, averaging a 6:33 min/mile pace. Her most rapid split occurred between miles 12 and 13, clocking in at a noteworthy 6:06 min/mile. Consistency was key, as her splits mostly hovered around the mid-6-minute range. This contributed to her credible finish time of 1:25:56 in the 2025 Mesa Marathon. Within the competitive field of 3,859 participants, Abby's steady pacing earned her the 60th position among females and 17th in her age group (F25-29). Notably, she improved her standing considerably from mid-race, showing a strong second-half performance. Her team, "4 the Girls," can be proud of this disciplined and consistent race effort. Continuing to refine the end-of-race acceleration could provide further competitive advantages in future events.
