Consistency in Pace Despite Slower Finish Thomas Cline, 34, representing Gilbert, AZ, participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon with an overall marathon completion time of 4:48:39, averaging an 11:01 min/mile pace. Out of 3624 participants, Thomas placed 2438th overall, 1585th among males, and 268th in the M30-34 division. He had a strong first half, managing to keep his pace below 10:00 min/mile until mile 6. His fastest split was during mile 7 with a pace of 9:12 min/mile. In the latter part of the race, Thomas's split times saw a gradual increase, with mile 25 being his slowest at 14:56 min/mile. Compared with his previous years' performances in the Mesa Marathon, where he clocked 4:24:39 in 2023 and 4:09:24 in 2024, Thomas displayed consistency in the first stages but could focus on maintaining pace in the latter half.
