Consistent Splits and Notable Improvement Dustin Johnson, hailing from Lethbridge, AB, delivered a commendable performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K event. His overall time was 47:44, with an average pace of 7:41 min/mile. Dustin consistently maintained his pace throughout the race, starting with an 8:10 min/mile in the first mile and consistently running under 8:00 min/mile for the majority of the course. Notably, his fastest split was the sixth mile at 6:51 min/mile, highlighting a strong finish. Compared to his previous 10K in the 2024 Mesa Marathon, Dustin showed significant improvement, shaving off 3 minutes and 31 seconds from his elapsed time and achieving a notable leap in placing within his age division. From placing 14th last year, he climbed to 11th this time. For future races, conserving a bit more energy earlier on could move you higher in rankings.
