Consistent Performance with Notable Split Variation Heather showed a compelling balance of pacing and endurance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K. Her final time of 1:15:04 demonstrates solid pacing with an overall average of 12:06 min/mile. Notably, Heather's 5th mile split was her fastest at 11:42 min/mile, illustrating a strong burst of speed in the latter stages of her race. She performed well in her age division, finishing 26th in the F55-59 category out of 28, reflecting a competitive effort. Throughout the race, her pacing displayed a positive variation, with her quickest split in mile five (11:11 min/mile) and slowing slightly in mile four (13:15 min/mile). Despite this challenge, Heather's splits show her ability to recover and push through, particularly as she returned to faster split times near the finish.
