Notable Improvement in Marathon Performance Barbara Devine demonstrated marked progress in the 2025 Mesa Marathon, completing the 26.2-mile race with an elapsed time of 4:01:31 and an average pace of 9:13 min/mile. This is a considerable improvement from her 2022 Mesa Marathon performance, where she clocked a time of 4:19:27 with a pace of 9:54 min/mile. Notably, her consistent pacing throughout the race was evident, starting strong with an 8:11 min/mile pace in the first mile and maintaining a steady rhythm. Her split times were impressive, particularly in the first half of the race, indicating good pacing strategy.
