Consistent Improvement in Pace and Rankings Stephanie Haywood participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K and finished with an elapsed time of 1:14:32, clocking an average pace of 12:01 min/mile. Notably, she ranked 30th in the F50-54 division, marking a solid performance in her age group. Her splits showed steady effort, with her pace improving in the final mile with an 11:21 min/mile split. Stephanie finished 542nd among women, out of a total of 2107 participants. Her team, Black Chicago Runners, can be proud of her performance. Compared to her previous 10K at the 2022 Mesa Marathon, Stephanie improved her finish time by over nine minutes and reduced her pace by approximately 1:29 min/mile. Her ranking in the division also rose from 49th to 30th, indicating clear progress. Focusing on maintaining a consistent pace in the middle portions of her race could further enhance her overall performance in future events.
